In conjunction with Travel Technology Europe (TTE) 2018, Travel Automation has released Less, a product that automatically searches for a cheaper fare on an existing itinerary, as a cloud-based service. Less will join QBotic and KLeer as part of Travel Automation’s suite of cloud services which assist travel agencies in maximizing agent time spent on revenue-producing activities.
“There are so many agent functions - repeatedly looking for an open seat on a sold-out flight, constantly checking for a lower fare on an itinerary that’s already booked, monitoring queues - that are necessary but don’t actually generate any revenue for the agency,” says Dale Weston, Sr. Vice President of Travel Automation. “Our products automate those functions so that agents can spend their time where it really counts.”
Initially released as applications on the Sabre Red App Centre, QBotic, KLeer, and now Less are all available as cloud services, requiring no installation, configuration, setup, or training. “The brilliant thing,” Mr. Weston continues, “is that agencies can start using and benefitting from these products today.”
Less and KLeer are available for agencies using the Sabre GDS. QBotic is available for agencies using either Sabre or Amadeus.
